ALEXIS KESSELMAN

SONGWRITER / PRODUCER / COMPOSER
LOS ANGELES, CA
NEW YORK, NY

Alexis Kesselman is a gifted and prolific platinum songwriter, producer, composer, vocalist and rising star in both the LA and New York music scenes. She is a natural-born storyteller whose superpower is intuitively weaving any story or concept into sharply impassioned lyrics, unexpected yet striking melodies and left-of-center production. As a songwriter, her recent successes include Joji’s Spotify Global and US number one and Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 single “Glimpse of Us”. Other cuts include “Doughnut,” for Kpop group Twice, which went Gold in Japan, as well as “F is For Friends” for Tainy, Trevor Daniel and Becky G for the latest Spongebob Movie. As a producer, Alexis has crafted her own distinct and exciting sonic identity, which can be heard in Grace Vaanderwaal’s latest single “Lion’s Den” among other projects. Along with writing and producing for other artists, Alexis developed her own artist project under the name “Idarose” through which she has amassed a dedicated fanbase and is nearing two million streams on her self-produced breakout single “When I Don’t Have You”. Alexis’ versatility allows her to make moves in the sync world such as writing and producing a musical number for the Jonathan Van Ness Netflix show “Getting Curious”, as well as in the theater world, co-writing a new musical with collaborator Jake Weinstein. She is signed jointly to Warner Chappell and EP Entertainment for publishing.
