Andrés Torres and Mauricio Rengifo are a Grammy and Billboard award-winning producing and songwriting duo based in Los Angeles. After a long friendship, Torres and Rengifo began working together in 2015, creating countless Top 40 Pop and Latin genre hits including the global sensation “Despacito” (Luis Fonsi ft. Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber,) “Echame Culpa” (Luis Fonsi and Demi Lovato) and “Runaway” (Sebastian Yatra, Jonas Brothers, Natti Natasha and Daddy Yankee) amongst many others.
 
Completing six records and more than 25 chart-toping hits in the past six years, their work has accumulated over 28 billion views on YouTube and more than 11 billion streams on Spotify, 4 BMI Awards and 4 ASCAP Awards amongst many others. Their genre-bending production and songwriting style has amassed billions of views and streams across digital platforms and radio airwaves, with hits that have earned them the highest of accolades and their mark in the music industry as music mavens.
Under their production, the groundbreaking global hit “Despacito” became the first Spanish-language song to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in over 20 years, earning the duo the coveted Latin GRAMMY title for ‘Record of the Year,’ the Billboard Latin Music Award for ‘Producer of The Year’ and a GRAMMY nomination for ‘Record of the Year’ in 2018. That same year, they were honored by Spotify at the Secret Genius Awards for their work on staple tracks like “Échame La Culpa” (Luis Fonsi ft. Demi Lovato) and “Báilame (Remix)” (Nacho, Yandel and Bad Bunny.)
 
Their passion for creating sonic excellence and songwriting is their secret weapon in the recording studio. Torres and Rengifo are notorious for being able to dip in and out of different genres of music and master all of them, a prowess reflected in the duo’s catalog, which reads like a who’s who of music: Luis Fonsi, Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, Anitta, Jonas Brothers, Sabrina Carpenter, Monsta X, TINI, Daddy Yankee, Sebastian Yatra, One Republic, Nicky Jam, Ozuna, Reik, Farruko, Carlos Vives, Alejandro Sanz, Alejandro Fernandez, Silvestre Dangond, Fonseca, Aitana, Andres Cepeda, Cali Y El Dandee, Tini, Khea, Piso 21, Morat, Greeicy and many more.
 
In 2019, the music wizards were also commissioned to produce the chart-topping hits “La Plata” from Juanes, as well as the Billboard Latin Airplay No. 1 single “Bonita” from Juanes and Sebastián Yatra, plus the summer hit “Runaway” from Yatra, Daddy Yankee, Natti Natasha, and the Jonas Brothers.
The Colombian duo also fully produced and co-wrote Sebástian Yatra’s album Fantasía (which birthed the hit single “Un Año” featuring Reik) and Luis Fonsi’s most recent album Vida. Both albums were nominated for the 2020 Grammy Best Latin Pop Album award and named the duo as finalists for the second time for the Billboard Latin Music Awards as well as a nomination to the Latin GRAMMYs winning the “Producer Of The Year” category in 2020.
 
In 2021 the pair released more 100 chart topping songs including Billboard Latin Airplay No. 1 “Pareja del Año” by Sebastian Yatra & Myke Towers. Also they where named the 27th “Producers Of The 21st Century” by Billboard.
 
Andrés and Mauricio are part of Milk & Honey’s growing roster of songwriters and producers.
Both Torres and Rengifo began their respective careers in their native Colombia. Mauricio is half of the very successful urban pop duo Cali Y El Dandee, and crafted major hits for the band, such as “Yo Te Esperaré” and “Por Fin Te Encontré.” Andrés, on the other hand, has been developing a career as a session musician, producer, and songwriter. He earned a Latin Grammy for his work with Alejandro Sanz and received several other nominations.
