Oak Felder, professionally known as Oak is a hip-hop and pop producer & writer based in Los Angeles, who spent much of his younger life in Istanbul, and Atlanta. Recently Oak produced and co-wrote ‘Change Your Life’ with Kehlani feat. Jhené Aiko from her new album ‘It Was Good Until It Wasn’t’; #1 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums, #2 on the Hot 200, with the song itself at #9 on Hot R&B songs. He also produced and wrote the song ‘Actions’ by John Legend and they continue to collaborate together. Oak is a versatile, genre-spanning producer, he produced and co-wrote the new single ‘I Love Me’ with Demi Lovato, currently at #12 on pop radio. Oak’s collaboration with Demi started when he produced and co-wrote Demi’s #1 single ’Sorry Not Sorry’. The song is now 5x Platinum and has been streamed almost a billion times.
Oak has had consecutive #1’s on Billboard with Alessia Cara’s ‘Here’ and ‘Scars to Your Beautiful’, and his work in the R&B genre is Grammy award winning; Alicia Keys’ ‘Girl on Fire; (Best R&B Album), Rihanna’s ‘Unapologetic’ (Best Urban Contemporary Album) and a nomination for Usher’s ‘Good Kisser’ (Best R&B Song).
He was the producer and writer behind much of both of Alessia Cara’s debut and sophomore albums, Kehlani’s #1 debut album ‘Sweet, Sexy, Savage’, and Oak has produced and co-written songs for Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday’ and ‘The Pinkprint’ albums, Miguel’s ‘Kaleidoscope Dream’ and ‘Wildheart’ albums, and 3 songs on Lizzo’s Gold-certified debut album ‘Cuz I Love You’.
Oak produced and co-wrote The Chainsmokers’ single ‘Who Do You Love?’ featuring 5 Seconds Of Summer, and Kehlani’s ‘Morning Glory’ from her recent mixtape. Additionally, Oak has written and produced records with Mary J Blige, Miley Cyrus, Jason Derulo, Alina Baraz, Jennifer Lopez, Mabel, Big Sean.
